March Girls Night Out & Stamp Club Projects

Hey Stampers!!
Thanks to everyone who was able to make it this month. It was great crafting with you! I hope you enjoyed the projects we made. It was nice meeting a few new people this month! Thank for brining your friends!!

Below are the projects we made. Please email me if you have any questions about the supplies or techniques.

Thanks!!

Easter Bunny Treat Bag: This Easter favor was made using a bunch of the Stampin' Up punches. It was so fun and easy!! Can you guess what punch goes where?

My favorite project this month that I was so trilled to show the girls was these cool Flower Picks!! We made them out of metal flashing and 12 gage wire (found at Lowes hardware store). Yes the Big Shot will cut through METAL!! So awesome!! I spray painted the metal flowers (Blossom Party Die Cut) to make them white. Oh and I have to say a BIG Thank You to my Dad for helping with bending the wire and cutting the metal. It was a fun project that we worked on together. My Dad is so handy!! I forgot to mention that we used a white chalk marker (found at a crafty strore) to write on the Chalk Board Paper. So you can easily change your message on the flower pick.

This card was made using the Mixed Bunch stamp set found in the Occasions Mini Catalog (ending in April) There is also a coordinating punch (Blossom Punch) for the flower! I would hate to have to cut that flower out on my own. I also used the flower punch to make the leaves. Neat idea! The paper I used for this card is from the 2010 -2012 In Color Family. Did you know that this paper and all the coordinating embellishments will be retiring in June when the new catalog comes out. So stock up if you love this color family like it do!

Here is the inside of the Mixed Bunch card we made. I cut the Peach Parfait paper at 4 x 9.5 and scored the paper at 4 inches.

Saving the best for last. Here is the original Flower Pick I made at a Stamping event. We added a Simply Adorned Bauble (the little black jewel hanging at the bottom) to the metal tag. The Jewels really dress up the tag. The Jewels will also be retiring and no longer available in June! So many changes coming up! I can't wait to see all the new things coming out!! The vase is from Ikea. Isn't it cute!

Thanks for checking out my blog! Be sure to RSVP for my classes next month!!
